I recently received a bunch of blending eye brushes that I ordered from Crown Brush.
Crown Brush are renowned for their quality brushes at very affordable prices!

I believe blending brushes are an absolute essential for eye shadow application whether you’re a professional or beginner! It’s good to have a couple in your collection so you can apply and blend your eye shadow with a different brush to get really airbrushed professional looking results. In this post I'm going to be showing you the brushes I purchased and what I think of them.

C139 Stiff Tapered Crease- £3.09

The C139 is a natural sable and goat haired brush which tapers up to a slight point. I found the bristles really soft and densely packed. They are also relatively short which gives you some precision when blending eye shadow or creating a cut crease look. When compared to a MAC 224, the C139 is shorter, denser and more tapered.

IB119 Deluxe Crease- £3.69

The IB119 is a tapered blending brush made from natural italian badger hair. This brush is so soft! The softest of all the brushes I purchased. It has a great shape for getting into the contour of the eye. This brush is less dense than the C139.

BK38 Deluxe Crease- £3.69

The BK38 is very similar if not exactly the same as the IB119. It is made from the same italian badger hair and has the same density.

C441 Pro Blending Crease- £3.99

C441 Pro Blending Crease

The C441 is a large white goat haired brush with a domed bristles. This type of brush makes blending really quick and effortless. It is great for placing your transition colour onto the lid. The C441 is also really soft. I decided to compare the C441 to one of my favourite blending brushes the MAC 224. These two brushes are virtually the same except the MAC 224 is five times the price of the C441!

C200 Deluxe Crease- £3.19

The C200 is a sable haired blending brush. This brush is almost identical to the C441. This type of blending brush is a great at multitasking. Its great for blending eye shadow as well as concealer under the eyes. You can also use it to contour small areas of the face such as the nose.

C433 Pro Blending Fluff- £6.09

C433 Pro Blending Fluff

The C433 is a small white goat haired blending brush. The tapered shape is great for getting into the crease of the eye. This is a great brush for anyone to have in their brush collection because you can use it in so many ways. Its great for precision blending as well as adding colour to the lid.  I was hoping this brush would be a bit softer than it is but for the price I can't complain. This brush is very similar to the MAC 217 . The MAC 217 has softer bristles and is a bit fluffier but is three times the price!

Overall I am so impressed with the quality of these brushes. They all have sturdy handles, light weight to hold and are made with good quality hair. For those of you who are just starting out your brush collection I would suggest three of these brushes as essentials to have. I would recommend the C139, C441 and the C433.

This will not be the last time I order from Crown Brush! I can't wait to add some more of their fabulous quality brushes to my collection!
