The Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter & Shower Gel

Wednesday, 25 September 2013

Introducing The Body Shop's newest body care range Honeymania. I picked up two of the seven products in the range, the Body Butter (£13) and Shower Gel (£4). These products aim to moisturise and nourish the skin with the help of honey's natural properties. Each and every product in the range contains community fair trade honey from Bezamar in Ethiopia.

Initially when I saw these products in-store I thought they would smell a lot more like honey than they actually do. With their fruit collections smelling so fruity I was expecting a honey scented overload. In fact this range has a really fresh floral scent with sweet honey notes to it. I absolutely love the scent, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

The body butter has a very thick and creamy texture to it. It has a non greasy feel unlike some of their other body butters. It absorbs well into the skin and doesn't leave a sticky residue behind, but a really fresh fragrance that lasts all day on the skin. This product left my skin feeling super soft, supple and hydrated.

The shower gel foams up into a rich lather that felt velvety soft on the skin. It contains no soap and has a long lasting sweet floral scent.

I think this a great little collection from The Body Shop. The luxurious feel of the products and the gorgeous scent make them a real treat for the skin.

Other products in the range are a Lip Balm (£4) Body Scrub (£12.50) Soap (£2) Bubble Bath Melt (£8) and Eau De Toilette (£8.50)

The Honeymania range is available in-store and online
