Osmo | Berber Hair Oil Treatment

Wednesday, 30 October 2013

Hair treatments are something that I don't tend to bother with on a regular basis. I go through phases where I take it very seriously for a few weeks and then I'm back to scragging it up into a bun and ignoring it. Recently however, I have noticed how dry my hair has become. Especially the ends. My hair hasn't been trimmed in a good few months which is probably a significant factor in its lack lustre appearance, but also the fact that I haven't been giving it the TLC it needs. I picked up this Osmo Hair Oil to try and bring some life back into my locks!

The Osmo Hair Treatment Oil is a unique blend of oils including Argan oil to nourish dry and damaged hair. Their formula is enriched with Vitamin E which has been specially added to reduce drying time. It also contains UV filters to protect the hair from sun damage and heat styling.

I like to use this hair oil straight after washing my hair. I leave it for a about ten minutes before I begin to dry my hair gets a chance to absorb the product. This stuff smells amazing! It has a fruity cherry scent. Divine. I was slightly sceptical with the claim that this would reduce drying time, however I was pleasantly surprised! It reduced my drying time by about half which is great time saver especially if like me you think drying your hair is a major chore. I have never come across another hair oil that has been able to do this! I prefer to use oils on damp hair, but you can use it on dry hair to smooth out frizz after drying.

After using this my hair looked and felt so smooth. The ends of my hair look much more hydrated and overall it looks so much healthier. You only need a small amount of this to get great results. I use about one and a half pumps and I have very long hair.

This is a really great product to have in your hair care routine. If you're looking for a hydrating and smoothing hair oil then I'd definitely check this one out.

The Osmo Berber Hair Oil Treatment retails for £19.99 (for 100ml) but you can buy a 10ml sample size for just £5.99! For Osmo stockists click the link- link

  3. I've never used a hair treatment before. I never know whether they're really worth it or not and I don't want to have to rely on them either. I might do some research into a few though and perhaps try one out.

    1. I tend to only use them when my hair starts to feel really dry or when I'm due for a hair cut! It helps to keep my hair looking shiny. Maybe try a sample size and see if you like it xx
