Vaseline | Spray & Go Body Moisturiser

Tuesday, 12 November 2013

I've had this moisturiser for a little while now and it's nearly empty so I thought I better let you know what I think of it. Vaseline released this innovative moisturiser in the summer time and it caught my eye instantly. I don't know about you but I find the whole moisturising process very laborious, so I was excited to give this a try.
The Spray and Go moisturiser is a quick and convenient spray body lotion that absorbs into the skin fast allowing you to put your clothes straight on. It has a revolutionary continuous spray dispenser that makes easy work spraying your entire body in a matter of seconds.
I am a huge fan of this moisturiser and it was an absolute must have for me in the summer months. I was worried that the spray nozzle would only produce a mist of product but it gives you just the right amount of moisturiser to rub into your skin leaving it feeling refreshed and hydrated. The continuous spray mechanism took me by surprise the first time I used it but once I got the hang of it, it was a definite time saver! There was no sticky feeling after applying this to your skin and my skin felt moisturised and soft all day. The scent lingers on the skin too which is really lovely.

If you are someone with very dry skin then I am not too sure how well this will work for you. Yes it is deeply hydrating and non greasy but this isn't a thick and intense moisturiser by any means, and it doesn't claim to be that either. Those of you with normal to dry skin I think would really love this.

All in all, this is a fabulous offering by Vaseline and I'm sure other company's will be bringing their own versions of this out soon. There are three variations in the range which are aloe, cocoa and oats. I chose the oats version as I really like the fresh scent it has. I would love it if they came out with other fragrances. Maybe some fruity ones for next summer? Hint hint..

The Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturiser can be purchased from Boots -link for £4.99 (190ml)
