L'Oreal | Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution

Monday, 23 December 2013

When you think of micellar waters one brand immediately springs to mind. Bioderma. But with the expensive price tag to go with it, I have never reached for a bottle. So when I saw that L'Oreal had created their very own for only £4.99 (200ml),  I thought it was time I saw what the fuss was about.
This Micellar solution is a makeup remover, toner and purifier in one. It unclogs the pores by drawing out excess oils and impurities in a way that is as gentle as water.

Having never used Bioderma, I cannot compare the two however I am obsessed with this! It removes my makeup really well and leaves my face feeling fresh and smooth. It does struggle slightly with waterproof mascara as its not oil based but still does a pretty good job. Since I discovered this I prefer using it over face wipes as I find they end up smearing makeup over my face rather than actually removing it. This is really handy to have to remove makeup quickly or to correct those annoying makeup smudges like mascara or lipstick! I don't use this alone to clean my face on a daily basis, I use it before using my Clarisonic Mia 2 (review coming soon!) and it does the job perfectly.

For the price I think this is a fabulous product with so many uses. It's really handy to have on my dresser and will be a must have for me for travelling. I'm now on my second bottle and can happily say its my most used makeup remover.

Available to buy instore and online from Boots and Superdrug for £4.99 for 200ml as well as some supermarkets.

  1. Hi, I also tried this product with the same idea in mind. I also have not used Bioderma (yet!) so cannot compare. So when I saw this in Boots, I was quite happy to give it a try. I did like it but I still didn't feel like my skin felt quite clean enough so once I finished it (I gave it a good trial!) I thought I would search for something similar and I found the Garnier Cleansing micellar lotion in Superdrug and it is £4.99 for 400ml. It works like a charm. It makes my skin feel so refreshed and clean... I would definitely recommend!! x Maria x http://marianoell217.blogspot.co.uk/
