Ever since pictures showed up online of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, I knew I had to have it. I am an absolute sucker for warm brown and bronze eyeshadow shades, not to mention the actual palette itself is gorgeous to look at! The Chocolate Bar palette was inspired by their best-selling cocoa powder based Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (reviewed by me here) where the powder actually smells (and tastes) like chocolate!

This palette reminds me so much of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory! The super cute vintage candy wrapper box conceals one of the most pretty looking palettes ever. The sturdy metal case in the shape of a chocolate bar is so original and looks good enough to eat. The palette is surprisingly light weight for a metal case, but I think it could have been slimmed down a bit to make it easier to travel with.

The palette contains 16 eyeshadows, 14 regular sized pans and 2 double sized pans in the shades White Chocolate and Champagne Truffle. The only reason I can think of for doing this is that the shades can be used as highlighters for the face. Champagne Truffle makes a beautiful cheekbone highlight.White Chocolate however is a matte shade which wouldn't be my first choice in highlighting but works great on the brow bone. The subtle scent of chocolate is devine and not at all overpowering .It also ties in nicely with all the delicious names they have chosen for each of the shadows.

The palette consists of mainly warm neutral shades with a few pops of pink and purple. Purples are my second favourite to warm browns and look beautiful on every eye colour. I am so impressed with the variety of finishes in this palette and they are all so pigmented. Most of the shades are buttery soft and so finely milled. Even the more glittery shades like Gilded Ganache and Black Forest Truffle aren't incredibly chunky. Matte shades like Salted Caramel and Milk Chocolate are perfect transition shades for any eye look and I would buy this palette just for those two! Good matte shades are hard to come by!

This palette has now rightfully claimed its place as my favourite palette ever. I am in love with everything about this palette from the quality of the shadows to the variety of finishes. I can create a full eyeshadow look with the perfect matte shades for the crease and even highlight my face with shades like champagne truffle. There are endless possibilities with this palette to create day and night looks and even hints of pink and purples when I want something a bit colourful. This palette is so universal, and the cute packaging and chocolate scent only add to its appeal. Everyone needs this palette in their life.

The Chocolate Bar palette is available exclusively from Debenhams for £45

I have been a lover of Anastasia Beverly Hill's (ABH) brow products ever since I bought the infamous Brow Whiz pencil back in summer last year. It is the most amazing brow pencil I have ever used! Their newest brow product from her range is the Dipbrow Pomade The first product of its kind, Dipbrow is a waterproof brow colour, ideal for sculpting, defining and carving perfectly precise eyebrows that wont fade or smudge. I bought mine in the shade Dark Brown.

Dark Brown is the perfect muted deep brown shade that isn't too warm or too ashy in tone for me. There are a total of five shades to choose from ranging from Blonde, Auburn and Ebony. You cannot fault ABH for their shade range, they have considered every skin tone!

The Dipbrow Pomade comes in a glass pot with a sleek black lid and the ABH logo on the top in a rose gold. The packaging looks very high end and just so classy. Dipbrow is unlike anything I have ever seen for the brows. It has a really creamy and almost mousse like texture, and somewhat reminds me of a gel eyeliner. At first I was unsure whether this was going to be way too harsh on my brows and make them too dark or way too defined...Oh how wrong I was!

Dipbrow blends like an absolute dream through the brows, and I was pleasantly surprised at how natural they looked whilst still being defined. To apply Dipbrow, I applied a small amount to an angled brush and began by defining my lower arch. I then went through the middle of my brows using small flicking motions. With whatever was left on my brush I then filled in the front of my brow again using small strokes. The creamy consistency allows you time to blend everything in easily without it setting too fast. After a few minutes the pomade sets and you are good to go!

Dipbrow is the most long lasting brow product I have EVER used. It is completely waterproof and smudge proof. Creamy brow products tend to never last on me or tend to fade after a few hours. I have always had trouble with the tail of my brows fading quite quickly and usually need re-touching. I can wear Dipbrow for 8 hours straight and it looks the same as when I applied it.

I have been blown away by the Dipbrow Pomade and cannot find fault with it. It is so easy to use and can be used to create dramatic defined looks as well as naturally groomed brows. It is the most long-wearing product I have ever tried and will be a god send in the summer months. Try it and you will not be disappointed!

Anastasia Beverly Hill's Dipbrow Pomade is available online from Cult Beauty for £15.00
